About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and graduated from Sonoma State University. I started my career supporting families facing a pediatric brain tumor diagnosis and have continued to support those facing cancer and other major illnesses. I have trauma training and experience with sexual assault and domestic abuse treatment. I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients in community mental health, including schools, clinics, nursing homes, and hospitals. My primary therapy modalities are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, Existential/Humanistic, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness.

My client’s describe me as caring, direct, and warm. You will find that I share feedback with you instead of a more quiet, reserved therapy approach. Therapy with me is often infused with humor and an open-minded outlook, striving to open new perspectives. I prefer to build on your strengths in order for you to reach your goals and to customize therapy to your preferences and life circumstances.

I look forward to supporting you with your goals. Schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see if I am the right therapist for you.
